# Time Time is the first illusion set before us. Not that time doesn’t pass, but that it can be regulated, controlled, and marshaled to obey our whims, or more accurately the whims of the time’s masters. Time flows like the waves in the ocean. It cannot be stopped, but it can be diverted and forced into other uses. What they don’t want you to know is that each of us possess a superpower that allows us to speed or slow our perception of time. Imagine you are sitting on a boat sailing across the sea, reaching out to the water. The deeper you press your fingers into the water, the more pressure you feel on your fingers. When you understand that the sea is time and your hand is your attention, you can stretch or shrink your experience of time’s passage. No one can control time, but have the right and ability to control our experience of it.
